All lions Clubs please give some thought to the Miss Personality Quest and the great work the Medical Researchers do in our world, all funds raised through this Quest go directly to fund this vital research which is carried out at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Personalities raise over $292,000:
Pictured are the finalists in the Miss personality Quest who faced the judges on the 7th July, together with all the lovely young ladies in the Quest this year the entrants raised over $290,000 which goes totally to Lions medical Research probably amongst the most important projects in our Lions portfolios. This money funds the Research Department where so many of today's and tomorrows cures will be found. The Quest Chairman next year in our District is Lion Jan Barsby of Murgon Lions Club and she is seeking entrants from every Club, this wonderful Quest not only raises much needed funds but it raises the profiles of our Lions Clubs as it high lights this wonderful research funded by us, it also certainly raises the confidence of the young ladies who enter and gives them a much greater understanding of the need that is out there. To be eligible for judging each Club sponsors an Entrant, who is bound to raise just $500, is single and over 18, for more details Clubs should contact Lion Jan Barsby who would welcome all enquiries and help in any way possible.
