Youth Quest Chairman Frank Douglas:

Youth Quest aims to educate Teachers in our Primary Schools and to equip them with the skills to recognise and assist young children that have problems before they become huge. The aim is to get each School to become active in this area and Quest have differing programs that do assist in reaching these children.
The Chairmen of the various Youth Portfolios are combining to print a folder containing information on each, Youth Quest, Youth of the Year, Youth Exchange and have these folders presented to every School in the district. They all agreed that contact with the Schools is very hit & miss so that is the area they are intending to focus on & get right up to speed. Other than that Skills For Adolescents workshops have been well attended in the Rockhampton area.
