TIN CAN BAY LIONESS CLUB
The small beachside town of Tin Can Bay came alive on the night
of 5/12/06 when the District Governor Bevan and Lion Jan came to
town.
They were there for the combined club visit of Tin Can Bay and
Rainbow Beach and as an extra the Chartering of the First Lioness
Club in District 201Q4 for at least 10 year. Yes the small beachside
village of Tin Can Bay now has a Lioness Club.
They chartered with 14 members and I feel sure that they will grow
into a large and supporting club with the drive coming from their
President Robyn Breen who has been a Lioness for 20 years.
Celebrations were held at the Tin Can Bay Country Club where approximately
74 members of the Lions family came to make this night one to be
remembered.
District Lioness Chairman Nola Taylor from Hervey Bay Lioness and
the Qld Lioness Representative Lenore Howard was also there to help
with the official duties for the chartering of this new Lioness
Club.
Members of the Lions family from Hervey Bay, Gympie South, Widgee
Mary Valley, Rainbow Beach, Coolum Beach, Fraser, Maryborough, Murgon,
